It's almost time!

Our 2011-2012 school year will officially start on Monday, August 1.  The books are on the shelves and the lesson plans are ready!  Here are a few pictures of our school room.  This room is technically the dining room and is on the front of the house.  We love that it has a nice big window that we can see what is going on outside.  The couch is great to snuggle up with a good book.  The tv, computer, and printer are used almost everyday for school.  We sit at the table occasionally, but it mostly holds our stuff.  Our school mascot is our pet Beta fish named Flare.  We are very fortunate to be able to homeschool.  We love the flexiblity it gives us!  We are starting early, so we can have 6 weeks on and 1 week off.  We should still be able to have a couple of days off at Thanksgiving, two weeks off at Christmas and still fit 180 days in by Memorial Day!
